Melodi Parker, M.Ed., LPC-S, NCC

CEO/Founder

Melodi is originally from Oklahoma and has been in Texas for over 10 years. She is married and has one son and understands it takes time to balance family, a career and LIFE! Her counseling approach is Adlerian Therapy, which focuses on understanding the unique and inner beliefs to increase self-awareness. She specializes in working with families dealing with divorce and grief. Melodi also works with individuals suffering from depression, anger, anxiety and provides parental consultation/workshops on Social Emotional Learning (SEL). Additional experience include  being a Certified School Counselor and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy.  EMDR is effective for treating traumatic experiences.

Vicki Smith-Lockhart, M.Ed., LPC-Intern

Intern

Vicki is a LPC-Intern and her counseling approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which assists clients in moving from stuck to fluid in their thoughts and behaviors. She works with women struggling with depression, anxiety and self-esteem. In addition, Vicki works with adolescents and teaches parents skills to improve their children's behavior.

Brittany is a LPC-Intern whose approach to counseling is Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which focuses on listening to you and helping you connect your thoughts and behaviors. Brittany’s therapeutic interventions will help you figure out what you want most and assist you in taking the steps to allow you to achieve the goals you set. You will become a personal problem solver and have access to a new perspective on how to live, think and feel your best.

Nicci Staggs, M.S., M.Ed., LPC-Intern

Intern

Nicci is a LPC-Intern whose theoretical approach stems from Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR).

Nicc's focus is working with children and adolescents who are experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, abuse, domestic violence, and more. For children, she integrates art and play in her sessions to promote self-expression.
